Cougar Cup winners

Playing their final three games in seven hours, the Ottawa Centre Bantam A Irish proved that endurance stands the test of time on the weekend, propeling them to the 2010 Cougar Cup championship in Gloucester. Over five games, the Irish outscored their opponents 24-4, with Havard Taylor earning MVP recognition and the whole team stepping up its play. The team's success came from not only its snipers, but from other team members who consistently back-checked, held puck possession, and generally worked hard to contain the opposition. Marcus Kelly was outstanding in net. Exhausted but thrilled, the Irish came away with a championship and renewed vigour for the balance of the season. As the saying goes, Go Irish!
